Neat, well-appointed room provided with excellent beds for a restfull sleep and an interior balcony, for instance. The most important - exceptionally nice location right off the bike trail. Free parking on-site provided. Extremely helpful and very amiable staff, wake up service and ironing free of charge.

I loved that I could easily stroll to Ariel-Foundation Park, just over a kilometer away, and the local art at Schnormeier Gallery was only a few steps from my room, making my weekend getaway a delightfully accessible experience.

It was also noticeable that parts of the hotel appeared outdated and in need of maintenance. I encountered a musty smell in the hallway that lingered throughout my stay. I found my experience enjoyable thanks to the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, but some maintenance issues impacted the overall comfort.

Scored some delish fries at Local Smoke and enjoyed the hearty vibes at The Alcove. Plus, the pool was a refreshing dip after checking out those tasty eateries!

But the room? Musty and dank. Mold in the bathroom and the faint whiff of cigarettes lingered. Some TLC is definitely needed around here.
